In the world map I setup a flight plan usually IFR low or high altitude with a specific approach. I save the flight plan (.pln). I then start my flight and at some point I save the .flt file. When I return I load the .flt file and I am flying but without a flight plan.

Press your mapped key to swap the frequency and you should see the clearance frequency as the active frequency and you should be able to request flight plan clearance from ProATCX. WebPress the DEL key, then click on the discontinuity, which will then disappear. Then, delete any blank entries above/below where the discontinuity was (mine left a blank entry above the discontinuity). Then, depending on how you entered your flight plan, you may find the first waypoint of the STAR appears twice.

If you create a flight plan change it gets inserted into a temporary flight plan so pilots can check it on the navigation display and afterwards confirm it.
